Edtpa Reflective Analysis

I am thankful that edTPA is behind me, it is an experience that I hope never to repeat. In retrospect, my self-diagnosis is that I experienced some form or learned helplessness. Throughout I was stressed to the maximum and constantly editing instead of moving forward and completing the product, just never satisfied. I had much support from school, the professors, and many of my peers including

During this semester I personally contributed to my overall success in the PTAP 2310 class by studying consistently and coming prepared to class. I found that having previously read the chapter and notes, I was able to further understand what Dr. Amite was teaching. This also proved to be beneficial if I had trouble understanding a portion of the chapter I could come with questions. I entered this class knowing that my performance and understanding of the information relied heavily on my entrance into the PTA program. Becoming a PTA is so important to me that it kept me driven to have a complete understanding of the material, even when it was most difficult.…

According to Mandia Mentis, Dunn-Bernstein, and Martene Mentis (2008), an individual with restricted use of inferential-hypothetical thinking will be unable to think of alternative solutions to common problems or to make generalizations and inferences. These students view the words as disconnected and either cannot draw conclusions at all or struggle with coming to a conclusion of his or her own (Mentis et al, 2008). Title Enrolling the EOF program has lighten up a path in life that would have gone completely undiscovered had I walked alone. Along the path was my introduction to college writing, a class that has improved my writing skills profoundly. At first the tasks given to us on the syllabus seemed daunting, almost insurmountable within the five-week period of the program; it seemed even more inconceivable with the class being only twice a week. However, with the guidance and instruction given to me by the professor and peers I was able to strengthen my work as a student.…

Before I came to Kisling Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA), I thought of myself as a good leader with certain traits and aspects. I believe that if I take care of my airmen, that they’ll take care of me by completing work orders, squadron objectives, or any future events without question. It wasn’t until I attended NCOA, that I was able to put concept names to the leadership traits that I had. For example, I would put aside my self-interest for the good of the work center because I wanted my guys to know that I have their best interest at heart. Which turns out to be part of transformational leader idealized influence.…
