I made some calls to a few of our competitors including Courtesy, Rainbow, Road Runner, Valley Car, Happy Car, and Accessories plus, to gather some information. For all vehicles, Courtesy requires a deposit of XCD $2,900.00. They offer two CDW options. For USD $8.00 per day, a customer is liable for up to USD $1,600.00 and for USD $12.00 per day, USD $1,200.00. I must note that the person I spoke with was very polite and patient regardless of how difficult I was being.
Rainbow’s deposit across the board is the most inexpensive at XCD $1,500.00. Their CDW is USD $9.00/day and the customer is responsible for paying up to XCD $3,500.00. At present, they only have vehicles available in their Cross-Over, Economy Car, and Luxury SUV …show more content…

The agent from Best Deal who assisted me over the phone wasn’t very personable. Their deposit is XCD $3,000.00. He stated that they only had one vehicle (4 door Toyota Rav) for USD $70.00.
In light of the information gathered, I believe that our trial run of lowering the deposit to XCD $1,500.00 for our economy cars will enable ICR to be more competitive. Please await a subsequent email with the list of
