As far back as I can remember, I have been raised around good Christian people with good Christian values. I felt safe in church, knowing that most of the families I connected with had the same set of values and beliefs that I was educated in my own life. Learning what I have in this class, I am more knowledgeable about myself and what I truly believe. My love for God is unwavering. As a Christian woman, I believe in the Father,

The only alternative is to recognize that God created everything and if there is a God, then man is accountable to Him (Rom 1:18). The meaning of life the way God intended is for His children to live a flourishing life and have a close relationship with Him. The world today has a blatant disregard Gods truth and love. I am in no way saying that there are no good people in this world, but in my opinion, many of us live our lives in sin every day. We allow the devil into our lives leading us to addiction, adultery, and detest for other people. For many years I lived my life in sin, leaving my little girl at home as I went out to party and do drugs. There are many times I wish I could get the moments back, but with God in my life, my daughter and I now have a very strong bond. My purpose on this Earth is to put God first in my life, above everyone else, and He will provide for me and my children. I intend to keep His faith alive in my life and home by reading the Bible to my children, praying , and attending …show more content…
The Bible clearly states what God expects from His children and the way they conduct themselves in their lives. The task of Christian ethics, then, is to determine what conforms to God’s character and what does not (Stonestreet,Noebel, and the Christian Worldview Ministry, 2006). In my opinion, the world seems worse in today s society. This could be because our personal lives are broadcast on the news and social media, but I feel that sex, drugs, murder, and rape are far more heard of now than it was twenty years ago. I remember when I was a young girl, I would run the streets with my friends and my parents never had to think about something terrible happening to me. It was very rare for a child to be abducted, killed, or raped. I will not allow my children out of the house without making sure that they have an adult at their side at all times. Terrorism is happening every day, to the point where I have become scared to turn on the news. I will continue to keep my children safe while teaching them to be strong, prideful Christians. If they choose God in their lives, regardless the situation in this world, God will make sure they are rewarded with an eternity of love and

But, none of us will ever be perfect and if it was possible for us to be perfect then there would be no purpose of us living. But in order to strive to be perfect we must follow the moral ideals which we have as Christians. By calling them moral ideals we know that it is something none of us can ever achieve because if we could then it would be a reality and we would not even have to mention them. I think the most important morality of the Christian religion, that many teens and young adults struggle with, is sexual morality. But, it is almost inaccurate to say struggle considering many push sexual morality aside and don 't consider it to be a problem.…

    3. Once we begin to realize who we are, the question of purpose and meaning comes into contemplation. William Craig reminds us that man cannot live within an atheistic worldview without some sort of meaning (see papers). The most fundamental element of Christianity is the direct faith-based relationship between God and man. Stringent and tightly conservative Christian ethics derived from man-made rules, traditions, and rituals infused into biblical doctrine often obscure that relationship as well as the meaning of God’s grace. Ethics, defined in standalone terms, are a set of values or theoretical ideas that make the acts of religious rules, traditions, and rituals compulsory to receive God’s grace (Webb, 2001). Christian ethics, while not being a completely bad idea, become dangerous when they strip morality away from their biblical foundations (Webb, 2001). Christian ethics often complicate being a good Christian and the morality of leading a Christian…

We are humans, and many of times we fail by trying to hold a certain status, gain certain materialistic possessions, and cause great emotional/physical harm to one another. In my beliefs, that is not the way one should live.…
