Switching costs are costs that make customers reluctant to switch to another product or service supplier. My Coke Rewards is a long running rewards program by Coca Cola for consumers of their various beverages. Customers can collect points and accumulate them for everything from coupons and free Coca Cola to gift cards and products. Customers purchase products from stores and keep buying them to keep getting more points. The point that they accumulate have an expired date, so they need to redeem the point with things they want before the expired date.
