Ms. Ortega Observation

Emotional part. As a happy and playful girl. Nohemi is not showing any stressful time yet. N seems to be fine being away from home. She eats, and use the toilet without fuss. When she is eating, she appears to be happy. Furthermore, N appears to handles sudden changes or staring situations with control. For example, she was playing when suddenly the teacher said that it was time for breakfast. She stopped playing, and followed the teachers’ direction with no problem. Until now she does not show that she can express anger in words rather than actions. N does not give the impression to withdraw from other excessively. N usually plays with her peers for a certain amount of time before she moves to a different play area. An addition, N gives the impression that she shows people affection. For instance, one day a boy asked her if he could play with her because he was playing by himself, and she responded with a hug and said yes to him. Conferring to my observation, N looks as if she has interest/attention in classroom activities. To illustrate, in one of the classroom activities Ms. Ortega was reading a book about cookies, and N seems to be attentive. When it was time for the activities I could see, that N was working in …show more content…
I would say that N gains access to play in positive manner. For instants, if a group of children is playing she would introduce herself in constructive manners to the play. N seems to have the ability maintaining the role in ongoing play in a positive manner. One they when N was playing with Legos, she needed more Legos, she asked in a polite way to the other children if she could have more. Finally, one day while the children were working in a project. N was working with another child and he did not want to share the materials, so instead of argue with the kid N approached the teacher and explain to her the problem. In conclusion, I would say the N seems to be able resolving play conflicts in a positive
