Sabrena communicates easily with her peers and her teachers. She can select centres based on her interest ( e.g., using different materials to make letters). She spends time exploring and experimenting materials such play dough, crafts, making puzzles and alphabet blocks. She is comfortable sharing her ideas and learning both in small group and large group activities (e.g., drew a picture of Sleeping Beauty and labeled using initial letters( i.e., S B and identified body parts orally ).She demonstrates knowledge of counting concepts of stable order ( e.g., she made tower using wooden blocks and counted up to 20 in order). She is beginning to explore and extend patterns in her play( e.g., making symmetrical designs using shape pieces). Sabrena often chooses to join in cooperative games in the gymnasium (e.g., while playing "Snakes in the Grass" or "Musical Hoola Hoops"). She demonstrates a love for the outdoors as she explores many areas of our natural learning spaces, using her imagination as she plays with her friends in the tires area, and engaging in cooperative games such as obstacle course in the field area. Sabrena has shown growth in learning as she develops an understanding of classroom routines by participating in group learning time and taking care of classroom materials. Location of seating in the theatre was to the left facing the stage where the seats were furthest and slightly elevated.
