The art of Tattoos dates back over 4,000 years. Historically tattoos represent many ideas. I chose three tattoos which vary in meaning and symbolism. I selected the Shark, Wood Duck, and Maltese Cross. From the Western culture the Shark represents fearlessness and the protector and guardian of your loved ones. The Wood Duck represents a symbolism of resourcefulness happiness and fidelity. The Maltese cross represents loyalty, honor, courage and sympathy. Therefore, the Wood duck, Shark and Maltese Cross have different meanings and symbolism in history.
