One of the most important traits of a friend, is someone who will help you if you need it. Everyone was drawn to people who they can just vibe with for a while and not become sick of, or bored with. A lot of people thought that someone who will stand up for you and would not let someone talk down to you makes an excellent friend. I agreed with most of the responses I was getting from my friends and family. My friend Abi said "someone who has a lot in common with you." Abi also told me about an instance when she met someone horseback riding on a trail and instantly became friends with her. Abi and her friend went horseback riding every chance they could get. Regardless, we still can just talk about random things and we both have a good time. Not only that but Hayden, Heather, Liv, and I are like sisters. I will talk about anything with here because I know she’ll always be there to listen and not judge. Now that we have been friends for so long, we have gotten into each other’s interests. Liv replied to my question with "[a friend is] someone who is loyal to you and respects you." I had never thought about how important respect was to a friendship; it is clearly one of the most important qualities. If someone respects you that means they genuinely think you are an important person. I think there are just some base quality’s that people should have for them to be considered a good
