For the 3rd and 4th quote my last two quotes are that Lennie sees George as an idol and wants to be like him he sees him as a big brother. For my 3rd quote this is a quote when somebody sees the true friendship these guys had and tells it to them, the guy who told them this was Boss and he was a really wise guy so he was really right these guys were really good friends and Lennie loved George and always tried to help him and carried him around and tried to teach him new stuff the quote is “I ain't never seen one guy take so much trouble for another guy”(85) what i really love about this quote is that Lennie did everything for lennie i mean literally everything and it's really great because someone like boss is admiring it and seeing it as a good thing he had never seen someone do so much for a friend and lennie has gotten into a lot of trouble from instance like that time in weed when Lennie tried to touch the girl and they had to run because she thought he wanted to touch her in a bad way or that time when Lennie killed Curley's wife {spoiler alert}he has done everything to save him. This quote means that Lennie has done a good job and took care really good care of Lennie and remember he has a mental illness and George has gotten through hell and heaven just trying to save Lennie from some of the stupid things he has done. This quote is important because he has gotten into trouble a lot of time for lennie and he has never quit on im like he has never left him he's always been a

True friends should stick together no matter the circumstances. This especially applies to situations where are each other’s only family. If two friends have a relationship that is this immensely close, they should never betray one another. This means that no companion should ever cut the other’sskfjdlsk life short. Although George taking Lennie’s life away with a nonviolent method was for sure better than if it was taken cruelly and painfully by another man in John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men,” the novel could have not resulted in a death that would haunt Lennie’s friend/killer forever.…

George and Lennie’s Relationship George and Lennie shared a fairly strong friendship, but the relationship that they had was not one that friends should have. Because of Lennie’s disability, George could not always treat him as a friend, but sometimes more as a child. The first moment in the book that we can start to see that George feels responsible for Lennie was after they had run away from Weed, and were hiding in the woods. This was when George was starting to get very angry and scream at Lennie, he said “An’ what I got, I got you!” (11) This quote shows that George feels as if his life could be so much better and easier without Lennie, but he has to keep Lennie with him, because he feels responsible for him.…

Unfortunately, Lennie isn't so bright, so George has taken on the role of not only being his companion but his caretaker as well. In the novella George and Lennie have gotten into trouble a number of times, but this one time may or may not have depicted whether he was a good friend or not.…
