In the context of an event, human resources (HR) is an important function that is concerned with employee relations, organisational design and effectiveness, encompassing areas of recruitment, training and development, performance management, reward and recognition, workplace safety and industrial relations (Van der Wagen 2007, p. 22). This report will outline the event HR management plan for the Toyota Hybrid Cruiser launch, including objectives and project phases over its 11 week span including: pre-event planning, operational planning, implementation and shutdown. A Gantt chart will highlight key tasks, timelines, phases and milestones.
Objectives
The Toyota Cruiser launch objectives revolve around event experience and economic drivers such as increased market share and budgetary adherence.
