Gun control is a highly engaged debated topic and always has been. Many people feel banning guns and creating gun free zones is the answer to stopping mass shooting and people being killed daily. Except they’re wrong. According to Freedom Outpost, 92 percent of mass shooting have occurred in gun free zones. Why? The answer is simple, bad guys know good people do not have guns to protect themselves. One argument that reoccurs is not the gun that kills, but the people who kill with a gun. Countries all over the world have their people killed. An armed society would not have that problem. Guns cannot be taken away from law-abiding citizens. If a man kills someone with a gun, they take the guns away. A man kills with a knife, no response. Man runs over people in a car, cars are still made. Bombs are illegal and yet bombs are still used. Taking away a law-abiding citizens guns is disarming him and making him vulnerable to the mercy of the criminal. Most criminals will not show mercy. This is like that one student in class that got everyone in trouble. Everyone else came in from recess but not Joe Blue, he beat up a kid on the playground.. So the teacher decides to ban recess because it gives bad kids the opportunity to beat someone up. Now the well behaved children looking for fun can no longer enjoy recess. Now guns is more serious because its life and death, but it boils down to the good people being punished for the criminal acts of others. "But if someone has a gun and is trying to kill you ... it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun."- Dalai
