A fallacy is considered to be a mistake or a logical error in reasoning. It is a concept of making an error when it comes to thinking and reasoning. Fallacies are thus two or more factual mistakes in a certain policy. Some of the fallacies are made intentionally in order to persuade or manipulate someone by deception. Others are made unknowingly as a result of ignorance and carelessness. It is advisable to be familiar with logical fallacies so that one can identify and avoid them when trying to persuade someone. Most of the people use invalid and poor reasoning when constructing an argument. There are several policies in which an error in reasoning occurs, such as in gun control, immunizations, and universal health care.
Gun control refers to the laws and policies that restrain the manufacture, modification, possession, transfer, sale, and use of firearms. One of the fallacies in gun control is committing a false casualty. This is evidenced in places with stricter gun control laws and places where the rates of gun violence is high. This implies that gun control laws cause the violence with firearms to go up. This is a fallacy since it ignores the fact that the two are affected by the high rate of gun

The theory of immunization of encouraging immune reaction and help prevent an infection is valid. However, saying that all vaccines work is a fallacy. This is because some vaccines may work while others do not. Others would cause adverse side effects while others would not. This shows being for or against immunization is a fallacy. The second fallacy is from science that says that all vaccines are effective. It is clear that science is not a unified body.
