Is it Constitutional or Not? Since the eighteenth century there have been disputes over the laws held on the pages of the Constitution, whether they dispute the meanings of the laws, or whether or not the law should even exist, nobody can seem to agree on one set of laws. These disputes still exist, maybe even in a worse form, today. There are arguments on gun laws, same sex marriage, illegal immigration, and drugs. Those four subjects are highly controversial, so this short paper has been written to tackle them all the best that it can. Not an opinion that might sway every few weeks, one that would take huge amounts of evidence to dispute. For the matter of gun control, everyone should have guns. The constitution was made so that it could be amended, however it was also made to be preserved. People ought to have the right to protect themselves and their families with firearms, and nobody can take that away. Criminals are already lawbreakers, more laws will not keep them from getting guns. On the subject of drugs, who cares? If it is not affecting you, then you should not care at all. Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol and cigarettes, yet they are both legal. In fact, it has health benefits. Smoke a joint, see if I care. As for illegal immigrants, they are not citizens, they are criminals. We have people who fought for your right to be an idiot dying homeless on the street, yet you want to provide for a criminal who came here because he was tired of Mexico? No. Finally, same sex marriage. Same sex marriage should be legal, it is constitutional and it is not our business. However, I am strongly opposed to it as a Christian. I think it is wrong, and I think we ought to reserve the right to discriminate against them (i.e. not marry them, bake them cakes,
