God created man to rule over the earth and all its inhabitants. He created the first man adam in his likeness pure from all sin but still gave him the free will to disobey. After time God them created eve from his flesh to be his companion, we see this in Genesis 2:21- “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man HE MADE INTO A WOMAN, and He brought her to the man.” this woman was called eve. Once God sets them up in the land of plenty or “eden” god gives them one rule which was to not eat from the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”. It is here we get our first rule which shows that we were meant to subject to our creator, however god doe not specify what the outcome of such an even might be. While god did give Adam dominion over the garden he also allowed a serpent to roam the grounds it is commonly believed that this Represents Satan. Satan or the serpent is a tempter already aware of the knowledge that the tree will impact them. It is from this serpent and eves interaction we get our first instance of sin in the bible. One day while wandering the garden eve notices the serpent by the tree of knowledge. The serpent lures eve to come to the tree, and to partake of the forbidden fruit. We also learn here that eve does have an inherent sense of right and wrong. The serpent tries to appeal to logic here by commenting “Did God…
