2. Young-earth creationism’ view over genetic engineering
Young-earth creationism is a religious belief, that our Universe and everything in it were created by God less than 10,000 years ago. According to {reference}, creationism is the conviction held in various religious and philosophical traditions that the universe and all forms of life are attributable to the binaural creation of either God or another divine being. They further believe that the Divine Creation Work either came from nothing (creation ex nihilo) or some form of unordered state of the earth.

The point was made that technology itself is not evil. Any technology can be used to further God’s purposes or hinder them.
Christians believe that we are called the stewards of God’s creation (Gen. 1:26-28), and that we need to expand our knowledge of what God has made in order to rule better over His creations. The part of being made into God’s image is our creativity. The notion were we “play God” is to imitate Him, our works of art, buildings, management of natural parks and the care for the poor all imitate Good for the good of His creation.
The fact that we have the ability to create new creatures that did not exist before “reflects” the image of God, as he is the only Creator in the world {reference}. According to {reference} we seldom realize that we are hard-pressed to find in nature today the ancestors of nearly all the plants and animals we use for food or service. Our current varieties of corn, wheat, flowers, cattle, dogs, horses, etc., bear little resemblance to the original stock in nature. That is because we have selected and manipulated them over the millennia for our own purposes. We have already created animals and plants that never existed before.
