“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8 38:39). This essay is going to discuss and analyze points of Christian Worldview along with reflecting on how my Christian beliefs’ shape how I live my life.
God has many attributes; he is all-knowing and unchanging. God has unconditional love and is always faithful to his children. “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made” (Romans 1:20). God is the creator of all heaven and earth and his creation is taught to us from the beginning in Genesis when we learn of God speaking the heaven and Earth into existence. “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together (Colossians 1:16-17). Next, I will discuss human nature. As children of God we are created with love and should love others as God loves us. The essential nature is to love God and love our neighbors, to be oriented to the creator and human persons in a manner that corresponds to and participates in God’s orientation to his people (Torrance 2012). The fall is the ultimate act of rebellion that caused humanity to fall. Because of the Adam and Eve and their sin we are now sinful by nature. Humanity is sinful and that is why we have problems with humanity because we as humans are not free from sin. Jesus is God’s love and he is the crucial part of the Christian worldview for those that believe in Christianity. Jesus is also the Messiah. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life, For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him (John 3:16). Jesus’ life and how he lived and helped other is how we wants us to live and treat others in the human race. We are all created in the image of God. A Christian has committed their life to living the teachings and ways of Jesus Christ. In the Bible we are taught that salvation is by grace alone. …show more content…
God’s grace is what saves us as Christians, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). Truth and faith is the backbone of Christian faith. Restoration to an individual means to replace spiritual death with spiritual life. Humans are sinful by nature but if we stay true to our Christian beliefs we can be good and do good each and every day. Being a Christian does not mean to attend church on Sunday, you cannot separate your Christian worldview from your everyday life. You worldview as a Christian affects all aspects of your life from how you treat your spouse, children and co-workers. Forming our worldview on Jesus’ life is how to navigate through this world when things are hard or people are getting away from values in life. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). By loving one another the way Jesus loves us we can restore humanity and faith in our community as Christians. Benefits and strengths relating to Christian worldview would be forgiveness. All of your sins are forgiven because Jesus bore them on the cross for you. We as Christians have been saved by faith and which means we have peace with God. Others benefits of being a Christian mean you have eternal life. “God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son” (1 John 5:11). One
