Fanatics The world consists of many different types of fans. Baseball, hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball, wrestling, cross country, track, tennis, racing, and many more. However, football fans happen to be the most entertaining to watch and interesting to know. Football is a roller coaster of a sport and it brings its fans along for the ride. The best fans are the die-hard fans, the jaded fans, and the band-wagon fans. Die-hard fans make football games entertaining because of their crazy antics. Most North Dakota State University (NDSU) Bison fans are die-hard fans. Fans like this paint their faces green and gold, paint their chests green and gold, and dye their hair green and gold. A few even go as far as getting tattoos of their team mascot, Thundar, or the NDSU logo. License plates on their cars might say “#1FAN” or “GOBISON”. Their recreational vehicles might be personalized with gigantic logos of NDSU on the sides, and these are used just for tailgating. These fans know how to pull up to games in style. Most people call them crazed fans; but everyone wants to sit by them. Die-hards cheer the loudest, and they know EVERY cheer. These fans don’t just do the cheers, they start them. Glory hunters constantly search for champions. They constantly switch the teams they cheer for. These people cheer for the Alabama Crimson Tide one year and the Ohio State Buckeyes the next year. Who they cheer for depends on who won the season before. However, a few change their teams at the drop of a hat, these fans might switch teams every week. This means that they might have cheered for the Oregon Ducks but now they cheer for the Ohio State Buckeyes due to Oregon losing three games.
