Minnesota Vikings Football

Every since a very young age, I'll I've ever known is football, more importantly Minnesota Vikings football. My dad is maybe the biggest fan there is, every Sunday, Monday or Thursday game, he's watching. Always cheering or yelling. That’s a big one, he yells like the referees can hear him. I could never have friends over on Sundays because of the yelling. Even though football has been around me for so long I never really understood the game. I tried multiple times to understand, but it just wasn’t matching up in my brain. I asked my mother at one point and she explained somethings like, who the quarterback is and how a touchdown is made, but other then that it didn’t make sense.
I can't even began to tell you how many times I asked my mother how the game works. I had watched football games for my bother, and even in high school, but the game was just a bunch of players in padding running after another player who had the ball. All sports are like that to me. I'm not athletic at all but I did try almost every sport, I just couldn’t get over the running back and forth part.
You're probably thinking why didn’t I just ask my dad?

2016 was the first year in the new stadium, what an amazing piece of art. Its beautiful inside and out. I'm so lucky that I get to be there during games, learning new things every time. Being at the game is different then watching it on Tv. That's also where I've learned new things, like as soon as the play starts the music in the stadium has to shut off because there can only be natural noise during the live broadcast. Also that during every score, the Viking fans sing the SKOL song which is such a great way to pump up the crowd and get everyone wielded up. My family and I have had so much fun going to these games. They're a great way to spend time with the family, and in my case, great for learning stuff that I probably should already

11:00 am I wake up to a perfectly clean room with a perfect breakfast: sausage, pancakes, bacon, and cinnamon rolls all sitting right next to my bed. I eat my breakfast and get ready for the day. From what I can remember, football has become a Sunday ritual in my family since I was a kid. Growing up in the North East, we lived a couple hours from Shea Stadium in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York. Being the playing ground for the New York Jets 1964 to 1983, now the New York Jets play at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Living so closed to the stadium and having family members like my Dad, Uncles, and Grandfather take the train or a boat over to watch Joe Namath play was an experience I wish I could have been a part of. First of all, the rules in basketball are easy to explain. In basketball, players basically can’t make much contact with players on the opposite team, they can’t reach for the ball, they can’t push, they have to dribble the whole time, and depending on the situation, a player may have a time limit with the ball. That is basically it. In football, a player must understand how to gain or lose yards, what offside is, how a fumble works, which direction to pass it, know what kneeling on one knee is, and understand what first, second, third, and fourth down is. The rules of football are too complicated.…
