    be prepared. Jaded fans are the fans that stick with their teams through thick and thin. They will be genuinely loyal to their team. When people think of jaded fans, they think of Minnesota Gopher fans. Minnesota hasn’t had the best sports record, but for some reason their fans still cheer for them the next week, month, and season. These fans aren’t from winning teams. In 2012 the Minnesota Gophers had six wins and seven losses. The Gophers had two wins and six losses in the Big Ten. Did this faze the jaded Minnesota fans at all? No, it did not. Minnesota still had their fan base supporting them, even though they had a losing season. These fans ride the roller coaster through the ups and the downs. The highs of winning exhilarate Gophers fans; they become ecstatic and love to celebrate their team’s win. Minnesota Gophers fans will trudge through a loss with their team too. Jaded fans stick with their team always. Although they may threaten to cheer for another team after a huge loss, they can never follow through with it. Just the thought of leaving their team sends chills up their spines. Their negative thoughts never last long. They stay mostly positive, although they prepare themselves for the worst. Many people do not understand why jaded fans stick with their teams. Gopher fans keep their team in their hearts, remain loyal, and protective. Band-wagon fans are glory hunters.
