In today’s high-paced modern world, obesity has become a huge problem that is about to spiral out of control. Combining an inactive lifestyle with a lot of stress is a recipe for getting fat. However, eating the right foods might just help you in the vicious fight against obesity.
We eat at least 3 times a day, while those of us who exercise do it no more than 3-4 times a week. Do the math, it’s 21 to 4 for food against exercise. Clearly it’s important to eat food that assists in burning fat. Most people expect that the real fat burning foods are spicy, green, and definitely not tasty. It has great nutritional qualities, mainly due to the fact that it contains high amounts of DHA – an omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 is vital for the human metabolism and our bodies can’t produce it. Also, this acid is difficult to get solely from a plant based diet. Omega-3 acid helps prevent heart disease, cancer, and has great anti-inflammatory qualities.
Eggs
Number two on the list – eggs. The majority of people is taught to believe that eggs are especially high in cholesterol and therefore should not be eaten regularly. However, recent studies have shown that dietary cholesterol doesn’t impact the levels of the blood one. High blood cholesterol levels come as a result of diets, consisting mainly of processed carbohydrates. They cause artery inflammation, which results in high blood cholesterol.
Of course, eggs contain numerous healthy vitamins and acids. Egg yolk is made of lecithin and all fat-soluble vitamins – K, A, E and D. This makes the egg a perfect fat burning snack!

Nuts
Last, but not least – nuts. These yummy little things are really high in protein, which makes them perfect for vegetarians or vegans looking for a meat protein substitute.
