On the topic of my educational career, I am a high school junior and I have been enrolled in a private, Christian preparatory school nearly my entire life; my mother enrolled me when I was five years old and my first memory of the school is when I was holding my mother’s hand, thinking about how my kindergarten teacher would be like. My teachers have all been great, because I was able to receive a great education and they were able to do their job by keeping the order in their room. Being a high school student, I made the decision to enroll in honors classes; they would give me more of a challenge and the extra work would help me with time management. I can gladly say that I have received skills and advice that will continue to help me in my future endeavors. …show more content…
When I think about what I want to do in my life, then I first think about what I am good at. I absolutely love kids, and so I have made the decision for myself to be a pediatric surgeon. It is a leap from just loving kids! I made this choice my life goal, because I’ll be able to administer aid to kids that requires more technique; I would bring good news to families by telling them that their kids are healthy and well. This would bring joy to the hearts of many families, possibly resulting in tears of joy. It would bring me joy in knowing that those tears of joy would have probably been tears of joy if it had not been for the work of my hands.
