One in every 100 babies is born with a heart defect. So, pediatric heart surgeons have to be specially trained for the job. In addition, they do many other things. Becoming a Pediatric Heart Surgeon requires, long hours, lots of training, and dedication, in order to live a balanced lifestyle.
