Sainsbury Plc established in 1869 is a main retail organization with about 707 convenient stores and 597 supermarkets, more than 2000 food suppliers and at least 1,300 non-food suppliers across the United Kingdom. It also has a financial interest venture in the form of Sainsbury's bank with 168 travel money bureau and 1,575 ATMs.
The company workforce consists of over 161,000 employees across United Kingdom. The company serve to 24.5 million customers per week in stores and around 4,000 customers online. (J-Sainsbury, 2015)
