My organization, Mount Ida College, offers a variety of student programs from the “Office of Diversity and Inclusion,” which cultivate an environment for students, faculty, and staff to learn from all lifestyles by encouraging an exchange of ideas that support diversity and inclusion. In fact, there is an “Advising, Advocating, and Achieving” program designed to advocate and facilitate students who may be under-represented.
Additionally, there is wide range of student organizations where students can attain personal growth outside of the classroom. These organizations range from Black Student Achievement Coalition (BSAC), Diverse Nations United (DNU), Volunteers in Action (VIA), to Queer Alliance (QA). Such programs aim to ease the pressure
