Growing up in the world of sports, I had a variety of childhood heroes that I looked up too. For me, those childhood heroes were Dwyane Wade and Lebron James. These two phenomenal up and coming NBA athletes, took the league and world by storm when entering in 2003. Each has collected their fair-share of accolades and trophies. From NBA championships, to NBA scoring leaders or NBA first all-Rookie team, both of these individuals have dominated the sport of basketball for over a decade. Although, both superstars share common hardware, their individual stats are what separate the two. Dwyane Wade and Lebron James have taken the league by storm since being drafted in 2003, achieving numerous amounts of trophies and accolades, Lebron James has separated himself by being a better scorer, passer and statistically better player than Dwyane Wade.

They have won league MVP's, to scoring leader titles, to NBA championships, to being named to all-star team after all-star team. The debate of who is better is overall defined by their individual stats in the NBA. Dwyane Wade has put together an unbelievable career and has achieved superstar status in the NBA, on the other hand, Lebron James has surpassed being a superstar and has already placed himself amongst other legends in the NBA as incredible career carries on. Lebron James continues to climb the ladder of greatness as he passes legend after legend in the career books. Ultimately, both superstars have proven their dominance in the NBA as superstars by achieving championships, individual awards such as most valuable player or the league's best scorer, but Lebron James has separated himself from Dwyane Wade by his individual stats and overall the better basketball
