These formulas have worked for these two over their careers and had people debating about who the best point guard was for years. Now we have Westbrook, he is maybe the fastest player in the NBA and the most athletic player we have seen play the point guard position, he has very respectable mid-range and an improving three-point shot, very capable passer, and with his unmatched motor and athleticism he can guard the ball brilliantly. Curry, the only one of the four that now has a championship, has sparked the debate of best shooter ever, as he can shoot the ball against any defense accurately no matter the situation, he is very crafty ball handler that uses angles well, great passer, leads by example and plays the game with a smile which rubs off on his teammates, also he is a steadily improving defender. With that being said, the NBA is filled with great point guards, Curry, Westbrook, Paul, Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard and Mike Conley. However Curry and Westbrook have quickly emerged as the two best at the position, which is very similar to Paul and Williams

If you're a 6-foot tall point guard, opportunities for success in the NBA are limited. Most NBA executives think using a high draft pick on a player of short stature is a losing proposition. It’s not as though there aren’t any tall players in the NBA anymore, there are still plenty of them. The simple answer to this “mystery” is that the play style of teams has changed. With the introduction of advanced statistical measurements into sports, teams have decided to utilize these statistics to build their teams to fit an “ideal model” of what a team should be: a team where all five players are able to play at a faster paced tempo, spread the floor, and knock down the outside shot with efficiency. This lineup has been historically efficient for the Warriors, and was considered one of the key factors in the Warriors’ victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals.…
