James and Jordan have played the same number of seasons, and around the same number of games played. Lebron’s PPG (Points per Game) is 27.2 and Jordan’s is 30.1. The only thing is towards the end of Jordan’s career his stats dipped off drastically. Before coming back out of retirement he averaged 31.5 PPG with the Bulls; but when he came back to the Wizards he only averaged 21.2 PPG. Not only did he drop off in points, but also in rebounds and assists you could see a decrease in his averages every year in these categories. Lebron, however, has only gotten better in his time in the NBA, averaging at LEAST 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists per game in every season he has played. Yes that may be true but if you were too look at it from that standpoint than Bill Russell is the best player of all time because of championships. The debate is not whether or not who is the most accomplished player. It is who is the BEST player. In this day and age Jordan could not hang around the players of today.
