Lebron James Role Model

Lebron James is a professional basketball player whose life changed for the better when he was handed a ball. For a boy from the projects, making it to the NBA was pretty good. Lebron James never seemed to lose his sense of dignity for his family, his fans and most importantly his city. He acts in a way that shows that he is mature and professional, he acts as a role model for all kids.
Most importantly he stays out of all of the temptations that fame can bring.
Lebron Raymone James was born on December 30, 1984 to his 16-year old mother, Gloria James. Lebron’s father was uninvolved in his life and led Lebron and his mother to struggle financially. While Gloria struggled with finding work Lebron did not really have a father figure to look

His mother had always made sure that he had what he needed, whether it was a pair of shoes or a uniform for a team. At one point his mother was unable to care for Lebron any longer and so he had to stay with his pee wee football coach and friend Frankie Walker. The family had involved Lebron in all of their activities, which included everything from going to church to household chores. This good behavior rubbed off on Lebron, his school awarded him the best attendance award as a fifth grader. During the time that Lebron was with them Frankie Walker had given Lebron a base for his skills and taught him many of the fundamentals of basketball. At this point I don't really think that he signed the Cavs for money, he signed so that he could win a championship in his home state and give Cleveland a championship. Welcoming back Lebron James was a great relief and the people of Ohio had a lot of hope for the future. Since Lebron had left they added the rookie phenom Kyrie Irving, Lebron made a promise to the city of Cleveland, he said that he promised that he will bring a Championship to Cleveland. Without Lebron, the Cavs were not able to qualify for the playoffs, but after he returned, they made their way to the NBA finals. they couldn't have done this without the help of Timberwolves former star, Kevin Love. He was traded and they began to build a big three for themselves, Lebron, Kyrie, and Kevin. The 2015-16 season was the season where everything came together and made their way to the NBA finals. The Cavs played the Golden State Warriors. They had beaten Lebron the previous year, but this was the year that the Cavs took the ring. This team beat Golden State and went on to win the franchise's first NBA championship. Lebron averaged 26 points that year, he truly did keep his promise with the city.
