Cats vs Dogs: Who makes a better pet? We all love to have a pet, some people go for animals like birds, snakes, or hamsters. Although, most people would prefer just to stick with the more common four-legged animals, such as a dog or cat, and that’s what I’m going to be focusing on. In this essay I am going to compare cats and dogs, not just as animals, but as pets. They differ in many ways, but also have several similarities. My goal is to help my audience understand better if they would like a cat as a pet or a dog as a pet more. I want to help you figure out which pet suits your character better and fits in best with your daily schedule. The pet owner must decide how much effort he or she wants to put forth to decide which one would work best for you.
Cats and dogs both make wonderful pets, they soothe the soul and teach responsibility. They both have fur, so you will be required to do regular combing and washing, as long as you don’t want fleas. They both shed, so you will definitely have problems either way with cleaning their hackles out of their fur. They do not require to be with one another or with anyone else, but they could certainly live together and with you. Cats do not like to be loved on as much as dogs do, they mostly do not like to be held. Some don’t even like to sit or even be around their owners. Cats are more active at night and that’s why you usually see them sleeping a lot throughout the day. Cats are definitely not as noisy as dogs can be, but they do meow.
