The dominant leadership styles practiced at Caribbean Broilers is Democratic. The Democratic Leadership Style consists of the leaders sharing the decision-making abilities with group members by promoting the interest of the group members and by practicing social equality.
This is an open approach to leading, where decision making is shared and the view of a team is shared and the views of a team or group are valued and contribute to the vision, goal and decision that are made. Ideas move freely among the group and are discussed openly. Two of the key functional area that contributes to the effective organizational goal setting is Human Resource Department and Field Department. One of the objectives of Caribbean Broilers is to ensure employees are working one hundred percent of the time on things that move forward the goal of the organization.
The Human Resource Department knows how to ensure that all employees in on the same page and in alignment with the organization goal. They also ensure consistency by establishing standards and then monitoring the goals that are created to ensure they are consistent with organization guidelines.
Another way is which the Human Resource Department can contribute to the effectiveness of the organization goal setting is holding everyone accountable. Prior to starting working at Caribbean Broilers, employees are trained and developed in their specific work area to meet the requirements of that particular position, therefore the department holds everyone accountable.
