His dream was to become an Aeronautical Engineer, it was a dream that he could never accomplish and wanted to fulfill his dream through me. Unfortunately it was not my dream, it was not what I had plan when coming to this country from Chile and leaving my mother behind, I came full of dreams, I wanted to study something that I love and that I will be passionate about, he didn’t give me that choice. Of course!, I didn’t succeed. I did meet my husband and got married, few months later I got a wonderful job as Treasury Administrator at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City that’s where I spend the next 10 years of my life, I absolutely love that job, I met so many people from all over the world, from so many different countries, countries that I have never even heard of. But this was a turning point in my life and I decided to finish something that it was looong overdue, return to college and finish my education, I have all the support for my husband and family, and my kids are my biggest supporter, it’s going to be a challenge but it will be very rewarding at the
