Semi-Automatic weapons should be regulated and accessories that make them semi-automatic. The American Government is depriving their citizens of safety since they won’t take action to prevent any more gun violence. According to The Washington Post, The United States has 88.8 guns per one hundred people or about seventy million guns overall. The laws and regulations on guns are ineffective and nothing is arranged to keep citizens in their countries secure.
People as young as 18 years of age are allowed to purchase guns without a gun license and consumers do not go through screen testing or go for background checks. In reality, only 0.79% victims of crime and violence between 2011 and 2017 used a gun to defend themselves.
