Gun control has became a bigger impact on today's society mainly because of the shooting in the 1999 Columbine highschool massacre, the 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech, the 2011 Tucson shooting, the 2012 Sandy hook shooting and the 2015 San bernardino shooting. The term gun control is used in the U.S. and means to take action by federal government or state/ local government, for use of buying or selling handguns or any type of weapon by any individual citizens. Gun control should not be a law because citizens without a gun is more likely to be killed by another gun because they have nothing to protect there self if a break in or a car jack happens. I liked these quotes because it just shows you how dangerous other objects in the world is then just a gun. So if the government is trying to stop people from murdering other people by taking guns it ain’t going to work. Also the NRA is a national rifle association that is against gun control because of citizens rights of having a rifle or any type of weapon. If the world had gun control today i don’t thank that we would have to worry about people getting shot in the middle of the street or just walking around like in kinston N.C.. There are 21,641 people in kinston N.C. so the chance of you becoming a victim is 1 in a 107 chance of being a victim in kinston N.C..
