Why should gun control law be more strict? Gun control law would help our government and citizens save more money. The money spent on gun violence could be saved and be used for better causes. Gun control law would also decrease suicide and homicide rates. It would also decrease mass shootings. States with stricter gun control laws had been proved to have less gun related deaths.
Gun control law would reduce the societal cost for gun violences. Being in prison cost tons of money and court fees are also expensive. Gun control law would reduce mass shootings. Just a week ago, in Florida, a nineteen year old decided to shoot up his school with an AR-15. He ended up killing 17 people, students and teachers. Minors wouldn't have access to gun if gun control law were more strict. You can purchase gun at the age of 18 in Florida. When students turn 18 and purchase a gun, you'll never know what they're planning inside their head. “In 2004, there were 2,312 youths between one and twenty years old that were murdered with gun” ( Cefrey p.5 ).
