Gun control law would reduce the societal cost for gun violences. Being in prison cost tons of money and court fees are also expensive. Gun control law would reduce mass shootings. Just a week ago, in Florida, a nineteen year old decided to shoot up his school with an AR-15. He ended up killing 17 people, students and teachers. Minors wouldn't have access to gun if gun control law were more strict. You can purchase gun at the age of 18 in Florida. When students turn 18 and purchase a gun, you'll never know what they're planning inside their head. “In 2004, there were 2,312 youths between one and twenty years old that were murdered with gun” ( Cefrey p.5 ).
If gun control law were more strict, their would be less deaths involving guns. The total death each year would decrease dramatically if citizens didn't have access to hold military grade guns. Their would also be less mass shooting then. The government and citizens wouldn't have to spend so much on gun violence. The 19 year old wouldn't be able to purchase automatic gun if gun control law were more strict. The 17 people would still live to see another day if the 19 year old was unable to make such purchase. Such law need to exist to keep our society
