There are many factors that you can observe for to catch an individual preparing to kill themselves. Suicide warning signs are things to observe for that indicate if an individual is at a higher risk for attempt of suicide. These signs can be seen though what an individual says, how they behave, or what their mood projects as (American Foundation, 2015). In this paper the writer will discuss two articles studied on suicide prevention interventions. The two articles indicate that a magnet with suicide warning signs and hotline numbers, as well as listening without judging, offering goal-achieving strategies, and age specific support groups were successful suicide prevention interventions used for adolescents and college students.
