The last five years of my career have been spent in the financial industry. My experience includes four tax seasons and two years of insurance and annuity sales. I have always enjoyed mathematics and as I have explored many of the career paths which utilize this skill, I have found the financial industry to be the most exciting. For this reason, I will soon complete my undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Mathematics.

As the head programmer for the team, it was my responsibility to create a programmable strategy that could complete the given task (add high-level overview of task). The key to my success at the VEX was keeping the programs simple. As other teams were derailed by overly complicated strategies, I found that creating a simplified program to accomplish our goals, served to place our team in the top quartile and receive the award for best program at the EETA conference in 2014.
