To create a budget, you must be detail-oriented in order to foresee all aspects of your personal spending and dedicated enough to following through on your plans. There are many ways that you can increase your savings, and a common choice is to increase your income. Wages increase with promotions or getting a new job, but both of these require you to be hard working and persistent. I believe that with any dream, you must be relentless in your pursuit and wise about the decisions you make to get there. Furthermore, the economy is always changing, and to be successful you must keep up to date and remain open-minded to new options or fluctuations. In general, I think that a positive attitude is a very beneficial trait and can bring you success in any aspect of your life, including finances or your career. While the previously mentioned traits apply to both personal and professional sides of life, good communication is essential in any type of professional setting. The business world is based off of the supply of a good/service, and the accompanying demand for that good or service. No matter which end of the transaction you are on, good communication ensures both parties have all the information they need to make well-informed choices. Professionally, you can be more successful if you accurately get your idea across and are able make better decisions if you …show more content…

His education gave him a base of experience and offered many opportunities for advancement in the business world. Mr. Smith claims that having a good memory throughout his life has also been very beneficial. Being able to recall certain information has helped him to make informed decisions that he believes ultimately led to his successful life. Above all, Mr. Smith believes there is no substitute for honest hard work and perseverance when things do not go the way you envisioned. During the interview, Edward mentioned that through out your whole life you will be faced against people that are smarter than you, but if they do not put in the same amount of work, they can never surpass you. In his personal experience, he has found that the harder you work the luckier you get. Moreover, life can change in an instant and not always in a good way. Edward mentioned that even though you may not always be emotionally prepared for changes in your life that does not mean that you couldn’t be financially prepared. Approximately thirteen years ago, Edward lost his wife and found himself a single parent of their

As previously mentioned, it currently does a great job of recognizing hard work through the Pass it On program and “Care More, Be More,” and the prestigious President’s Circle awards, however the organization is working towards long-term goals therefore it is important to keep its talented employees committed. One needs to consider if the efficacy brought by the prizes from Pass it On is short-lived. Another possibility is that the process of accumulating points to claim a prize in the Pass it On is too long and employees become impatient. Constant turnover is highly detrimental and counterproductive to the attainment of Vision 20/20. When talented employees leave, one does not realize that what goes away is not just the person itself but one’s great ideas and exceptional work ethic.…
