In the near term, I am not only working to take classes that fulfill my undergraduate requirements, but also other courses such as advanced auditing and assurance; corporate and partnership taxation classes to further develop my core competencies in accounting field. My short term goal in the next two years will be continuing in pursuit of Master’s in Accountancy at the graduate level, as well as preparing myself for future advancement opportunities, and becoming a certified public accountant. My long term goal in next five years will be obtaining a career in tax and audit industry, and being able to achieve a positivize impact on society. As a team, we had completed a strategic audit for our team case study on Facebook Company. Our team consist of ten members, and we choose Facebook from the fortune 500 companies to create a formal strategic plan for Facebook Company. My primary responsibilities included coordinating functional responsibilities with all team members, developing a comprehensive strategic analysis and implementation plan of the firm’s general strategy to achieve its short and long-term goals and objectives. I would describe that my leadership in this organizational situation to be more task structure because I had to assign various tasks among the teammates according to their strengths and ensure all the strategies that we added were align with company’s overall mission. Our goal was to design a strategy that takes into account every aspect of the firm’s history, vision and mission, market and financial positions, culture, and values. This strategic audit project has broadened my business knowledge; knowing that in order to success in business, we have to understand the importance of strategies could affect a company and its position in the industry.
