Personal Statement On Pursuing A Associate's Degree

As of right now I am pursuing an Associate’s degree in accounting to further my education and gain employment. I have been seeking employment and was surprised to find that most higher paying jobs require at least an Associate’s degree. Even though this was the reason why I returned to school, I have learned during my education, that what I am doing now is beyond becoming employed. I wanted to come back and get an Associate’s degree, find a job, and be done. I have come to realize that continuing my education opens doors to many opportunities and that I do not only want to get an Associate’s degree. I would like to further my education. My highest aspiration is to become a CPA. For that I will need to transfer to UCF and graduate with a Bachelor’s
