I struggled at the beginning of this task because their automated accounting system is not the same as the SAP system that is taught in the university. Nonetheless, the basic concepts of accounting systems are the same, which was the main reason I was able to surpass that rock on the road. For the completion of this task most of the necessary conceptual information needed was recollected from accounting system’s class along with intermediate accounting class concepts. Data that also served as a good tool for this task was the one learned during advance business law classes. Knowing about learning about the transfer of ownership of the products ordered. I acknowledge I do have weaknesses that need to be worked on but overall I am very please with the results and have given in my job and they way I have represented UTEP education. One recommendation I would suggest is more motivation for students to take an internship to allow them to have the experience of what it is to work in the real world before they graduate. I know it might not be the case for everyone, but I do know of some students that don’t take and internship because they don’t want to “lose time” with an internship rather than complete a class for graduation requirements. Little do students know that taking an internship does count as a class requirement. All that is left for me to say is that UTEP’s education and my hard work has developed into a formal job offer from Frontier Foods & Cold Storage that I am looking forward to
