Many people do not think about high school preparation for nursing. Another reason to consider being a registered nurse is the great high school preparation. Individuals need to graduate high school and also graduate a nursing program. “Theses individuals also need to have a bachelors degrees in nursing. Also these same individuals must complete supervised clinical work” (“utahfutures”). With knowing that nurses have to go through all of this schooling and also a supervised clinic work, many people decide not to be one. Nursing is not for everyone. It takes a very strong, intelligent, and compassionate person to take on the ills of the world with passion and purpose and work to maintain the health and well-being of the planet. No wonder we’re exhausted at the end of the day! ” (“Nursebuff”). Many individuals who start nursing schooling never follow through with it. Nurses need to be strong, intelligent and compassionate to follow through and finish nursing school. Many people do not finish because they say it is too much schooling. When in all honesty it is not that much schooling at all.
