Elizabeth stated that nurses who are on their final hour after a long days shift get exhausted and do not pay as much attention to pateints as nureses who are just beginning their shit. Eliabth said the type of attention that she is talking about is nurses giving firm answers to paitients and be dissmisive of them this could lead the patient to react in various ways some of the ways could be the patient feeling discouraged from asking from help which would could lead to the paitent being depressed. Elizabeth said that there aren’t many people have have the right qualifications to gain employment. She stated that highschool graduates were more likely to look into other career options. The main reason for this could be the low pay levels that Nurses in Victoria are currently receiving.also the demand for nurses are increasing. main causes of nursing shortages in most high-income countries are related to demographic change: to an ageing population ().
In conclution nursing it can be said that more needs to be done and more money needs to be invested in this career to encourage individuals to make this profession as there career choice. This will hopefully result in less work hours and reduce the level of medical errors which would reduce patient morbidity and mortality. It can also be said that nurses who are not overworked are more likey to be less adgitated and more patent with patients and thus would result in more better wellbeing overall for both patients and
