First this paper will discuss who is the Zodiac. The Zodiac is a self-proclaimed killer.
He was linked to five murders and taunted the police in northern California during 1966 to 1974. In October of 1966 the Zodiac killed a young woman, then in December of 1968 he killed two teens, he also killed another two young women in July and September of 1969, and a middle aged man in October of 1969. The Zodiac was also famous for his anonymous letters to taunt the police. The Zodiac wrote in his letters that he was responsible for 42 murders. The only closed case murders where the 5 of David Farraday, Darlene Ferrin, Betty Lou Jensen, Cecelia Shepard, and Paul Stine. The website http://www.zodiackiller.com/ state how the first murder occurred “David Faraday, age 17, was shot once in the head at point-blank range and died within minutes. Betty Lou Jensen, age 16, was shot five times in the back and killed instantly. The weapon was a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol. The ammunition was Winchester Western Super X copper-coated long rifle. There was no indication of robbery or sexual molestation. While there were no witnesses, several vehicles were seen in the area just prior to local resident Stella Borges discovering the crime scene.” this section also states how Darlene Ferrin was murdered @http://www.zodiackiller.com/ “The parking lot of secluded Blue Rock Springs Park on the eastern outskirts of Vallejo, Calif. Darlene Ferrin, age 22, was shot five times.”
