The Aquarius zodiac sign originates from the constellation, that was recorded by the Greek Astronomer Ptolemy. The latin meaning of the word Aquarius is “cup bearer” and “ water bearer”. The Aquarius constellation is in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of the oldest zodiac signs. This constellation can be seen in the during the spring in the Southern Hemisphere and during the fall in the Northern Hemisphere. It is said that people have similar traits to their correlating zodiac sign. I believe that I have very similar qualities of a Aquarius person in the aspect of traits, career interests and relationships. The Aquarius zodiac sign applies to all people born on January 20th through, and including February 18. My birthday is on February 6th, thus I fall into the Aquarius zodiac sign. An Aquarius person's strengths are progressive, independent, original, and humanitarian. Their weaknesses include, being temperamental, being aloof, uncompromising, and running from emotional expression. They are said to be shy and quiet, yet energized and eccentric. They would bring enthusiasm and inspiration to the workplace. An Aquarius person is a visionary. They aren't suited for working at a normal desk job, they need a job where they can be independent and can show their creativity. They are “idea” people and good leaders. The careers that would suit an Aquarian person are social work, photography, mechanics and engineering, psychology, architecture, or education. Other occupations for Aquarius people are arts, travel industry, scientist, athlete, politician, environmentalist, astrologer, marketing and public relations, these are careers that are suitable for an Aquarian person.
