The Zodiac Killer

The Zodiac Killer was believed to have been responsible for at least five murders in Northern California in the 1960’s, although it is possible he could be responsible for more than just the five. The first confirmed Zodiac killing was on December 20, 1968, when 17-year-old David Faraday and his 16-year-old girlfriend Betty Lou Jensen were shot to death near their car on the outskirts of Vallejo, California. The second killing was on July 5, 1969, when Darlene Ferrin, 22, and her boyfriend, Mike Mageau, 19, were sitting in parked car in Vallejo when they were approached by a man with a flashlight who fired multiple shots at them, killing Ferrin and seriously wounding Mageau.
