Having the knowledge of the Writing Conventions is crucial for anyone who is writing a paper or communicating on a every day basis. Grammar, Spelling, and Punctuation are a part of our everyday lives and it is important we provide clear, effective communication to everyone and everything, whether it be verbally or written. Listeners and Readers want to understand what you are trying to say, they want a clear picture. We communicate every day. That being said, it is important that we must have a understanding of the conventions of writing and how to put them to use correctly and properly. When writing, you want to make sure you are using correct grammar, using the right punctuation, and not misspelling any words. Including all of these conventions, readers and listeners will be able to understand your message. This will also prevent readers and listeners from rereading your text, or having to repeat yourself multiple times. Readers and Listeners want to be able to see a clear picture when you are communication. Specifically when writing, it 's important for readers follow your text and create visual images in their minds based off your written text.
