I start my writing process with the pre-writing process, which is strictly done on pen and paper. My pre-writing process is very similar to "stream of consciousness writing," in which I just let my thoughts on the subject of the writing flow out. Then, as my pre-writing grows in size, I try to find a focus within the thoughts and give myself a direction to write in. I have found that this form of preparation is most effective for me. Without this preparation, I often get stuck in a rut and have trouble finding a subject to write about. Once I make it to the actual writing process, I try to let the center of my paragraphs
