Why should they work harder if the teacher next door is receiving the same pay for less work? (Hood) Furthermore, some teachers do not enjoy the work that they do because it wasn’t the subject that they went to college for. For example, many school districts are lacking science teachers so they must employ someone else to simply sit in front of class and teach from a book. Not getting enough class time to ask questions? Well that is why I think high school classes are too big. We never get enough one on one with the teachers, so if you're not understanding the lesson then you have to try and figure it out yourself. We don’t get enough one on one because everyone else is playing around and not paying attention, so that leads to no one learning anything. No one learns anything because no one is paying much attention, because everyone is talking and not even acknowledging the teacher and that she is trying to teach a lesson.…

Some students don’t have a lot of time to do all their homework, which affects their grade, or it leaves no time for any activities because they are so busy trying to finish their pile of homework. I’m not saying all homework is bad, but too much of it is. It stresses students out when they don 't have enough time to finish it. Or they stay up late doing it and are really tired the next day. If we can 't sleep in class, we shouldn 't be doing a lot of school work at home.…
