Good morning to our principal, teachers and student. My name is Nazmi Nabil from our school Alumni. The reason I am standing here is solely to present a talk on the topic ‘Why breakfast is the most important meal of the day’. Some people skip their breakfast because they do not aware of the benefits of breakfast. The main purpose of this talk is to make you realize the importance of breakfast. Nowadays, many people especially Teenagers go through the day without having breakfast. A lot of people do think that breakfast is not that important, or they say that they don’t have time for that as an excuse, and begin their day with no meal. It is not healthy and good to have an empty stomach all day long. It’s very important to have energy to make through of your day. This is because our stomach has been empty when we are sleeping. When we are sleeping, the food we eaten for dinner will be digested. This process usually take five to six hour depending what kind of food we having in the first place. Different kind of food takes on different time to Digested. For example, meat require more time to digest compared to vegetables and fruits. If you miss your Breakfast, It would been way too long since your last eaten. You could go to twelve hours without having any meal throughout the day. That is not very healthy for everyone, especially growing children just like yourself. All you going to get is gastritis and a lot of problems with your health if you don’t eat your breakfast. Depending on age and gender, your body needs a minimum amount of nutritional elements, such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, calories and fat, to keep organs functioning properly. Eating breakfast gives you a jump-start on meeting your nutritional requirements for the day, and also gets you on the path to making more healthy choices. People who eat breakfast tend to eat more fruits and vegetables overall throughout the day. Without enough energy, young minds won’t function properly, hampering memory and
