The considered paper tends to provide detailed marketing process of a new product for SAYA Foods (UK). The company has been manufacturing confectionery products for the last 5 years and now is planning to introduce a new product. The new product will be ‘Breakfast cereal’ named ‘SAYA Cereals’.
Breakfast is definitely the most significant meal of the day due to the fact that we tend to have it after a break of at least 8 hours after our last night dinner. The first important thing the body needs which has lost the energy reserves is the breakfast with all the fuels needs to replenish the energy throughout the morning session of the day. In addition the much needed nutrition’s are also essential for the body to give a best start of the day.

Different methods of communication are used by the company to raise the awareness for the product through mediums of advertisements. Within the confectionery industry, there are buckets of aspects that could affect the business dynasty of the company and the company is planning to introduce a new product “Breakfast Cereals”. The product is targeted for the age group of 06-60 and the cereal market is continuously changing as the demand for staying healthy is increasing. Changing preferences of the consumer, strength of the competitor’s brand and economy can be the possible threat that might affect the new breakfast cereal growing market share.
Other options for Marketing Mix
The objectives of marketing for the new breakfast cereals must be SMART for this product. To market the product that is nutritious and healthy which the consumers of different age groups enjoy to eat due to the energy and other ingredients gathered at the start of the day.
It is strongly promoted within the marketing as it needs to target parents of the children that are aged between 6-12 and also young men that are athletic in nature. It is also to be noted that the main ingredient in the breakfast cereals are 90%+ wheat, fibre and other minerals. The environmentally possibility will be to used reused/ recycle philosophy and also to maintain the price factor whilst promote the product by visiting different schools and introduce massive advertisement.
